Store your frontend on BNB Chain

Open on DeWEBYour DeWEB address works right away; your own domain is optional
Once uploaded, the frontend lives on chain and every full node has a copy. The site belongs to this circuit container NFT: whoever holds it manages it.
Before you start:
  1. On chain means permanent: files can be updated or removed from the directory at any time, but the bytes stay on chain forever. Never upload keys or anything that must not be public.
  2. Cost: no service fee. You only pay BNB Chain gas for your own transactions, straight to the chain, not to us.
  3. The operator is a temporary wallet generated by this page. It signs the dozens of upload transactions for you; it can only write files and cannot touch your circuit or your BNB. Its private key is kept in this tab's session storage (reopening a closed tab may restore it). When the upload is done, click "Refund balance" right away; once the balance is refunded the key is deleted automatically.
  4. After the upload, open your site at its DeWEB address right away. Binding your own domain is optional.

Connect a wallet and pick a circuit
Sites are registered under a circuit container. Only circuits you hold that already have a container are listed here. None? First open a container for one of your circuits (0.012 BNB) on the circuit containers page of tapeout.net.

Drag and drop your frontend
Drag the whole built folder (for example dist) in here. Works like FTP: every file is one or a few on-chain transactions, and progress shows in the log below.
Drop a folder here, or click to choose oneBuild output only; max 8.4 MB per file; link images and video externally

Your DeWEB address
Every site is reachable at its on-chain name, no domain needed. Anyone can open the link below in any browser; wallets and browsers that support tape:// can open the on-chain name directly.

Bind your own domain (optional)
Optional. Skip this step if the DeWEB address above is enough. To use your own domain: enter it and click "Bind" (free, only chain gas), then add two DNS records at your registrar; the certificate is issued automatically. Binding only makes the domain "eligible to be resolved"; which container it points to is decided by the TXT record in your DNS, so nobody else can take your domain.

CNAME(shown after you enter a domain)(see configuration)
TXT(shown after you enter a domain)(container address, shown after you pick a circuit)
How to fill in the DNS records

The "Host" column is the full record name; in your registrar's panel enter only the part up to your zone root. If the zone is example.com and the record name is _tapeout.app.example.com, enter _tapeout.app. On Cloudflare set both records to "DNS only" (grey cloud). If your provider does not allow a CNAME on the root domain, use the www subdomain or an ALIAS/ANAME record. The TXT record may list up to 5 container addresses, so old and new can sit side by side during a migration. Propagation depends on the TTL, usually minutes to a few hours.

Once on chain, BEP-aware wallet browsers will show "On-chain frontend · verified"
How it works
FilesSplit into chunks of at most 24 KB, each chunk a read-only code contract on BNB Chain mainnet; SiteRegistry.read(container, path) is readable by anyone, and every file has its SHA-256 registered
OwnershipSites are registered under a circuit container; only the holder the container recognises (circuit NFT holder, container opened, not listed for sale) can change them; transferring the NFT transfers the site; frozen while listed
DomainsDomainBinding records "(name or domain, container) valid until"; there is no exclusivity on chain, pointing is decided by the DNS TXT record; binding is free
GatewayOpen source, anyone can run one: look up the TXT record by Host, check the on-chain binding, read the files, verify sha256, serve. The one we run sits behind Cloudflare
CostNo service fee. Uploads cost chain gas only (about 0.01 to 0.03 BNB per MB, one-off); activating the DeWEB address and binding a domain are free apart from one transaction's gas
